Saving Private Ryan ..
That first 30 mins (?) of the movie was such a shattering experience for me. I was in tears within 2 minutes of the movie opening .. shocked and emotionally caught up in the devastating battle scenes.
So as highly as I rate that movie, I wouldn't be able to watch it again.

It's funny how the first 3 films that popped into my head were all mentioned by the time I posted.
The Green Mile
Se7en
Old Yeller
Kinda wild to know that the same films that you have a hard time watching more than once are the same films everyone else avoids too.
But they are all great films.

I'm surprised at the number of people that have mentioned Requiem for a Dream. It's a great film and I've watched it twice on TV. I recently bought the unrated DVD as a matter of fact, and I can't wait to get it so I can watch it again.
Se7en disturbs many people but I own the 2 DVD set and enjoy watching it every once in a while. Another great movie.
I honestly don't think there's a movie that I've seen that I've liked but wouldn't watch again. Those of you that get bothered by them, you do realize they're just movies?

You can add yet another vote to Requiem for a Dream. When I first started reading these forums, I was surprised at how well known and received the film was here. (I think the reason I first heard of it and saw it was because I'm a Jennifer Connelly fan). It wasn't what I expected and I remember when it was over (after I caught my breath) I though "wow, that was amazingly intense, but I don't want to sit though that again". I really can't think of any other film I feel that way about.

I've watched Dancer in the Dark, Requiem for a Dream, and even Come and See many times with no problems. But there's one movie that I gave 4-stars to, and I don't want to ever see it again:
Irreversible.
I just cannot go through it again, especially the first 30 minutes of it.
