T2 (Still the best teaser...Closely followed by Strange Days)
I also love:
A Clockwork Orange (Awesome!)
Legend
The Untouchables
Ace Ventura:When Nature Calls
The Exorcist (2000)
Three Amigos
Christine (I remember the ENTIRE theater jumped up when the car roared towards the camera. I can't believe the DVD doesn't have this trailer)
The Doors (Teaser)
Monty Python & The Holy Grail (In Japanese!)
Face/Off (Teaser)
The Shining
The Big Doll House (Ooooo! Nudity!)
Nightmare on Elm Street
Blue Velvet
The Fly ('86)
Lethal Weapon 2 (The Toilet Bomb)

The first teaser from Pearl Harbor using the music from Thin Red Line was just amazing--too bad the movie was absolutely the biggest let-down I've ever experience after such an amazing trailer.

A couple of good ones IMO:
-Comedian ("In a World..." "No, no "In a World's...")
-American Pie (even tho it gave the pie thing away, i don't think a trailer has ever made me want to see a movie more)
-The Matrix (from the Jan. 99 superbowl...as Keanu might say, "Whoa")
- Citizen Kane
- And just to be different, T2

I will always remember the first Star Wars Ep 1 teaser trailer. It was on some stupid ass movie that came out like 6 months before SWE1 did, I cant remember what though. But there was soooo much hype about it, and I thought it actually lived up to it, the trailer that is, not the movie

While the movie itself obviously was not all it could be, nothing has ever really captured me and sent my desire to see a movie into overdrive like the first trailer for Phantom Menace.
I remember seeing it come on MTV unexepectedly as part of that dumb Carson Daly show. At first it was just the Fox logo, which I sort of shrugged at as I spoke with my Grandmother on the phone. However, once the Lucasfilm logo appeared I almost wet my pants! I gave Grandma a hasty but loving goodbye and then frantically pointed at the TV for my roommate as I hung up. We both sat in awe. The next night they aired it again and I taped it and watched it over and over. Same thing with the second trailer. Of course the movie was not what it could have been, but then again what movies are nowadays?

- Close Encounters - teaser (it aint on the DVD, so don't go looking for it, it features all these men and women staring at an intense light as the camera shifts from different points of view. Stark, ambigious, and showed no footage from the actual movie - fantastic)
- Excaliber - Carmina Borona (sic) music over the footage and the lady in the lake pulling the sword back into the lake under a blood red sun - wow!
- It's Alive - the first tv teaser that gave me nightmares for weeks. A wicker baby basket in a dark room, the camera pulls closer to the basket to reveal a claw hanging over the edge. The camera quickly turns to go into the basket, darkness, bloodcurdling monster baby cry. (classic)
- Dirty Rotten Scoundrels - truly funny
- Gremlins (teaser) succesfully did not show mogwai or any of the gremlins.
- Blair Witch Project - (teaser) - showed no footage from the movie, just a lot of screaming against a blank black screen and then the title of the movie appears.

MEET JOE BLACK and WING COMMANDER were among the first films to show the trailer. Was it one of those?
