Comedies that weren't funny

There are more of these than there are charges against R. Kelly.

I actually had one of his albums but last year I got rid of it (before the child porn case)

My Best Friends Wedding. She was a manipulative slut byatch. He has as much personality as a houseplant. The only likable character was the gay boss. Everything else was just stupid. I kept saying to my wife "is this supposed to be funny?"

Agreed. They tried so hard but failed so miserably. I admire their effort though.

Saving Silverman
Slackers
Shallow Hal
National Security
Master of Disguise
Boys and Girls
The Sex O'Clock News

has anyone seen LOOSE SHOES?? It's an old movie, that is kind of like a Kentucky Fried...but it is absolutely NOT FUNNY, except for one scene called DARKTOWN AFTER DARK....anyone who's seen it will know what I mean! The 90minute movie sucks, but one five minute sequence is pure gold...

What!? I thought that was one of the funniest comedies of the year along with (no he isn't going to say it!) Kung Pow "Enter the Fist". A lot funnier than that American Pie crap.

as of recent: "The Guru" - simply a truly manipulative movie that should had a television laugh track. (ack!)

Agreed. Along with anything featuring Jim Bellushi, I suppose if it where 1972 I would think it was hilarious.

Silence of the Hams.

however, i now think some moments are incredibly funny. (the "goodbye" ..."goodbye" exchange.)

anyway most comedies are not funny. but may have on or two scenes that work. like the above example and the whole usual suspects and right before that with the real stories... and america's most wanted guys in Wrongfully Acused.

I thought Kung Pow had some hilarious moments. Certainly a LOT funnier than Super Troopers.

I'll also put my votes in for:
The New Guy - although I had to laugh at the fact the Lyle Lovett was his dad.
Shallow Hal - shallow movie

While I'm not fan of Tom Green, watching him get his ass kicked by Rip Torn had to be the funniest part of the movie. Actually any part involving Rip Torn made me laugh. And that young kid who gets abused

I just don't want to live in a world where horses getting punched and cowboys farting isn't funny.
