i'm just overjoyed that it beat martin lawrence's movie! both obviously suck (but they are january movies!) but i cant stand ML. if he does one more cop film i think i'll scream. it has to be such an ego-downer for him to lose to such crap though!

Let me say that there was a time that I would have enjoyed a film like Kangaroo Jack when I was six as well. No doubt I would have kicked myself for doing so 15 years down the road. However, I never watched films like Kangaroo Jack because my parents refused to take me to stuff like that, and I thank them for it.
That's what's wrong with today's audiences, they gladly embrace anything that will keep the kids quiet for a few hours. Case in point: back when I was a kid Transformers:The Movie bombed, even though it had a large enough fan base to sell tickets, just not enough parents willing to take the kids. About a decade or so later, Pokemon the movie rakes it in, while back in the day TV show movies flopped. Go figure.

Maybe you meant Leno?
Wow... that's really wierd.... I wonder who it was....

Don't know how you could confuse 'em though...one's funny, the other's Leno.
I agree. In the evenings I "watch" late night TV while doing other things (usually involving e-mail, online forums, etc) while I just listen to the television.... and I rearely (if ever) listen to Leno

I wonder what other latenight talkshow made fun of the film...

hmmm......

It was Late Night with Jon Stewart!!! (whew!, that's a weight off my mind)

I'm recently finding Jon Stewart's show to be funnier than the others. ALthough I've loved watching Letterman since the 80s
