Will there be a scene where Jesus inadvertantly contacts God via short-wave radio?

It SHOULD be an interesting film although I'm not sure what the Vatican will have to say about it since Gibson belongs to a tradionalist Catholic cult that criticizes the Pope and wants Catholicism to return to it's origins pre-Vatican II.

But if an atheist (Pasolini) can direct one of the most authentic and beloved stories of Christ (The Gospel According to St. Matthew) then maybe Gibson has a good chance of making something truly interesting.

Have you seen Pasolini's The Gospel According To Saint Matthew? While it wasn't more contoversial, it was, in my opinion, a better movie than Last Temptation, which I liked quite a bit, by the way.

This movie probably won't make any money.

This thread proves that Frequency jokes aren't exactly timeless.

Well Thin Red Line jokes won't work since no one saw it. The Count of Monte Cristo jokes? He got beat up almost as badly as in The Passion.

That was the one post that kept this thread from being timeless. I cringed when I read it.
