I certainly hope so, although I doubt it. Jim Cameron has had nothing to do with it.
And T2 is my all-time fave! I'm just hoping T3 doesnt ruin the series.

Looks awesome, but the trailer on the other hand. . .it doesn't look so hot.

I would agree, but it also looks exactly like T2 when he was getting "damaged" also...

And I thought I had a bad day. Just goes to show that you can have real bad skin problems at any age.

I didn't know he had green eyes. He's so dreamy.

Seriously though, why are we getting so excited about this pic?

Well, for one thing, it's pretty damn realistic. If it weren't for where the lips join, I'd think it was actually Arnie with makeup on.

Something I'm noticing with all these advance materials from T3 - teh colours are all off. Remember in T2, how most of the scenes had a blue/complimentary colour scheme? Examples:

Blue shades in the night chase followed immediately by the orange shades of teh steelworks.

Even Pescadero is bathed in blue shadow, except for her dream, where everything is a saintly white.

These are off the top of my head, so. But it raises the question - if it can't LOOK like a continuation, how can it be accepted as one? Film is largely a visual medium. Different actors can work, sure, but different actors in an altogether different world?

wow, very nice photoshop job <standard internet disbelief reaction>

Just joking, that looks awesome, heck of a makeup job!!

But sadly, i think having a female as the opposing terminator just sucks. You can almost predict that her armor is going to be burnt off, sooner or later to reveal some metallic boobies!

Cool pic but I'm pretty apprehensive about this one. T2 was just great but I TOTALLY agree with Lastblade that having a female as the antagonist just plain SUCKS.

To me, it's not that she's a female that sucks... It's that *that* seems to be the only gimmick they've got, and it's such a lame one... There's nothing in any of the promos or trailers to suggest they gave a **** about the storyline this time...

Neat, I guess...

Too bad the trailer sucked beyond compare... My interest level = very little at this point.

She'll be back...

So? if that's how a cyborg with damaged skin looks, then that's how it looks. You can't improve upon an accurate portrayal.

I think they should of casted Vin Diesel as a good human character and Arnie back as the bad dude. Kinda similiar to a remake of the frst one but this time have John much older about the age of Vin so they can both beat the Terminator equally. However conflicts arise when John doesn't want to be protected and goes and risks his own life for Vin's.

Is it just me, or is Arnold starting to look like a guy near 60 years of age who has had heart problems

Of course he has gotten older, but it COULD have been good.

The trailer just sucks so much ass, it's horrible! They should've made it all slow mo with the T2 theme music and cut that crappy narration.
