I was at the Darkness Falls website last week, and underneath the trailer window was the rated R logo. All movie websites stated that the movie was rated R and opens January 24th. Now the official website rating has changed to PG-13, and the movie is opening on January 31 (the same day as Final Destination 2). Anyone know what was cut from the movie, and why in god's name they would cut it to a PG-13. I've heard fairly decent reviews on this film, but there have been barely any good PG-13 horror movies recently, other than The Ring

I tend to agree with the don't judge a movie by its rating especially when it comes to horror (Sixth Sense, Others, etc) However this movie didn't look like it had any brains like those other movies so I will indefinately stay away.
