Extreme-Ops = Empty theaters!

Ouch! This movie only made 3.1 million over the 5 day weekend! That's really freakin' terrible. The movie looked ok, but pretty mindless. Did anyone actually see this? I think Devon Sawa really needs to fire his agent. He passed up Final Destination 2 for this?

Actually, it's refreshing to see this type of movie bomb. The more successful these MTV, teenie bopper, mindless action movies are, the more prevalent they will become.

Extreme Ops looked about as enlightening as Triple X, so I had not idea if it would sink or swim.

That's 40 million down the drain for Paramount.

This looked like one of those movies you might catch on TV if nothing else really good was on....its nothing new.

This isnt the first movie to be like this and it really won't be the last.

I can't believe a studio actually put major money to fund this release after seeing the plot

Matt, there are less crass ways of saying it was bad than saying it "sucked gigantic balls." How about a witty double entendre? This movie can go Extremlely OUT of theates. LOL times ten.

It's a good thing this movie bombed because otherwise we might see a slew of movies with the word "Extreme" in the title...

Would "Extreme Solaris" have been a hit?

Does this mean that this movie will soon have a street date for DVD?

I saw an ad for this and could not believe it was actually being released to theaters.....it's somewhat heartening that it bombed....the fewer of these flicks the better....

Even the camerawork sucked? Aww man, that's too bad. I like the director, Christian Duguay. He usually makes cheap movies look expensive and stylish. He made The Assignment, which was much better than it had any right to be. And he made, uh, Art of War, Screamers, and.. Come to think of it, Assignment is the only good movie he's ever made. So never mind.

I can see the production meeting now, "But it had EXTREME in the title, and OPS...how could it fail?"
