Minority Report confusion - ***SPOILER***
 

Ok I finally got around seeing it after it was released on DVD. My question is about one inconsistancy of the film.

During the last half of the film where Lemar is talking to Colin Farrel's character about the precog's hiccup/deja vu on the murder of Anne Lively. I understand how he orchestrated the killing of that one, BUT what about when he says "Danny you know why there isn't any spiders, helicopters outside right now" as he shoots him in the chest.. how'd he pull that one off ?

Overall I think the film was heavy on special effects and far too light on the script. Has been somewhat of a trend for Speilberg lately IMO.

Not to nit pick <or to act like a mod> but this one belongs in the Movie forum as it doesn't talk about the dvd as much as it talks about the movie itself. ;)

The script works if you look at it. There is a lot of inconsistancy on the outside that work well once you get into a discussion on it. There is a lot of talk about this in the movie forum back when it was in theaters, but I'm sure this thread will bring up some more talks and clear things up. :)

Well I'm content with the film, but as with most films it could stand some improvements here and there.

This thread should be in the movie forum.

Why post this when the 2 post before yours said the same thing?

he pulled it off because the Precogs can't see it... without the 3 Precogs together, they can't see the murders... so he could get away with that one scott free, because they couldn't see it...

If you want a thread moved, please report the thread to a moderator. That's the fastest and most guaranteed way that a mod will know about the thread.

Another question widely discussed is whether or not the last few minutes of the film are a dream or reality.
