Well first thing I'd have to ask him is "What did you think the story was going to be like?". He might have been misled into thinking this was going to be some kind of Harry Potter like film.

I just think it's funny that someone from India, a country that turned out it's own Superman movie that's been called one of the worst movies ever made, would consider Fellowship Of The Ring "unplausible".

Check this out!!

Man, that was funny!

I think that the "Indian Superman" movie deserves it's own thread!

I thought that movie was Turkish. Or was that Turkish spiderman?

And I think Indian Superman did get its own thread... or was that...

You think that's a bad review? Check out the one I wrote on Amazon:

Lord of the Rings? More like Bored of the Rings!

I'm a big movie buff, I've seen Citizen Cane and I love Castleblanca, but I can not see why this film has gotten so much attention! It bills itself as a historical drama, but none of the history books I've looked through mentioned any great war or things like Hobbits or Elves. And talk about a long movie! They think we need another half an hour? ...

I recomend Pearl Harbor, it's a much more historically acurate and the love story is more believable.

Nope, not just trying to prove a point. I submit for your approval:

DVDTalk's Worst Movie ever thread

Not only Matrix and Fight Club, but Fargo as well. Now I'm not going to try and convince anyone that these are "Great" movies (although I think they are and many others that are mentioned in that thread), but can ANYONE in good faith call them the WORST?

So, what about the review? I think the reviewer is either an idiot who did not understand the movie or he is simply trying to look hip by slaming a popular movie.

There are 1954 of them on www.imdb.com alone who would rate it as one of the worst ever ..

probably not, but definitely an amateur, stating "Jackson slips, even falls, in his attempt to convert his tale into a magic of delight and wonder"

Sounds like he thinks it's a story by jackson, not an adaption...

You are right. The politically correct word to use would be "Mentally Challenged" !

That Indian Superman guy had me laughing and rolling on the floor. rotfl

I wish they will release this on DVD! Better than a real comedy film!

BTW, that review sucked!
