"Allegro non troppo" Is it any good?
I've heard mixed reviews about this movie. Some say it is good and some say its lousy and boring and dated. I'd like to hear some of you opinions before i go out and buy it. Thanks

I find it to be very hit and miss.
Let me start by saying that I'm definitely not a fan of the live action segments. Too slapstick-y for my tastes.
The animated segments vary. I find that the "Bolero" sequence and the "Valse Triste" segments arre wonderful and as good as anything within Fantasia, but others aren't as successful (the opening "Prelude to the Afternoon of a Faun," for ex.)
Worth a rental at least.

The segments which work are brilliant, some of the finest animation ever created.
So even with the indifferent segments, it's well worth your time.
