Attack of the Ring: Fellowship of the Clones

What a day! Got my six dvd set and spun it into my multi disc player and had a great old time watching this wonderful movie!

Wanted to discuss people's favorite scenes!

Ok - I guess this probably needs a SPOILER warning! Ok, consider yourself potentially spoiled!

Some of mine:

Didn't you just love how

Count Dooku was in league with Sauron?

Anakin and Arwen fell in love even though they were from different worlds?

C3PO accidentally bumped the skeleton into the pit, and then pitifully wept, "We're doomed!"

Gandalf trying to learn about that poison dart in the ancient libraries?

Yoda and Saruman fighting in the tower of Isengard?

Frodo dealing with the dark side of the force trying to corrupt him?

What were YOUR favorite scenes?

Yoda summoning the water to destroying the Ring Wraiths by the use of "The Force"

Didn't ya see the imperial forces advancing over the hills in the shire. for the eagle eyes, a few teletubbies can be seen as well.

a couple of hobbits breaking into song in the far corner of the bar when Obi and Anakin are searching for the bounty hunter.

How about when Saruman's Uruk-kai warriors surrounded the Jedi Knights?

I thought Peter Jackson directed a better star wars movie.

Theres more plot and characterization in LOTRs then there is in all of Clones.
I wouldnt really call it a great movie as someone else above had.
Better than Episode one but not enough Heart.

Didn't you just love Pippin and Merry avoiding the stamp plates in the robot factory while trying to eat second breakfast?

I liked it when Beru served that blue milk at the council of Elrond.

By the way, this was a great idea. I'm looking forward to what the others can come up with.

How about those secret plans to create the "one ring" that Count Dooku managed to escape with and take to Sauron?

I like the part where Arwen smacks Anakin for being such a dill-hole and pushes him into that gorge in Rivendell.

I loved loved loved it when Arwen got double teamed by Anakin and Obi-wan, and they had Padme tied to a chair so she could only watch. And Yoda on filming the whole thing...my that little guy got some sweet camera angles!

Peter Jackson is a money hungry grub. Why else wouldn't he put out the original LOTR Trilogy (Ring Wars, The Orcs Strike Back, and Return of the Hobbit) on DVD???

Wasn't that something when Aragorn cut off Jango Fett's head while trying to save Boromir?

No one saw this movie, I take it.

I thought Jar Jar Binks impassioned plea for the ring at the Council of Elrond was interesting.
