NYC LotR screening 11/11: one admission available!
(Just in case this message was buried too deeply in the other LotR thread)
OK, it figures. I won and I can't make it on Monday. $^( So, to promote DVDTalk, I will give my NYC entry to the *first* person here who will agree to wear a costume and pick up the DVD for me at midnight in the nearby Virgin store. Will consider other offers too, I guess. (As in other DVDs and you keep the LotR?) I just want to see that someone goes who really wants to!
The screening (on 42nd St.) runs from noon to midnight, with food and drink supplied. I think it's fair to give up my admission in exchange for the DVD or something comparable. I want to at least win *something*.
OK, so email me and first person with an offer gets my admission.

That's too bad the ticket had to go to waste.
I attended the Los Angeles event and had a good time.
I wrote about my experience during the event in this thread:
