Anybody know what happened to Zu Warriors?

I remember seeing the trailers for it earlier this year saying that it would come out during summer. But no sign of it or even a peep! Any clues?

it was shown in some test screenings around the country, but miramax did their usual work by butchering by about 20 minutes (i heard) and they dubbed the actors in english. i read in another thread a while back that people either left the theater, or just stayed and laughed at it. it's a shame, i actually like the film, i just wish that miramax would quit screwing around. thank god i own the dvd of it.

Got the region 0 Hong Kong disc maybe.

Enjoyed it a lot. Great special effects.

Story could be confusing but after watching it a second time, made more sense.

I also liked Stormriders and A Man Called Hero.

dyerjp pretty much nailed it...

In short, Miramax screwed up yet another film. I'm tired of this crap. Do these movie studios really think they know what's best for every film made in the world just because the studio is american?

Hear hear!

Most "overseas" film should be left alone. Leave the foreign language and add a dub for everyone else.

So they did show it at the movie theaters? Oh well, I suppose I saved some $$ by not seeing it being butchered and dubbed.
