Butch Cassidy & the Sundance Kid...Newman, Redford

I remember seeing a movie in the 70's that had a scene with either Robert Redford or Paul Newman in a old fasioned bathtub with a cigar. I was just sure this was in Butch Cassidy and the Sundance kid. After watching the dvd last night I discovered it wasn't there.

Was this dvd cut or what movie am I thinking of? I looked at the filmography for both of these guys and nothing else rings a bell. Anyone know what I am talking about?

Possibly THE STING ?

Definitly Paul Newman in The Sting.

And, as long as it is brought up, when are they going to release a decent WS version of this movie.

Yeah. I want a new Sting also......

Widescreen.. Audio Commentary with Redford and Newman... BEGGING for this please!

I rewatched The Sting a few weeks ago and I forgot about the bathtub scene. But I don't think that is the one I am remembering. Seems to me there was water and possibly bubbles in the tub. My husband thinks maybe it was Burt Reynolds instead of Newman or Redford. He seems to vaguely remember the scene, too.

Thanks for answering this rather unimportant post! :)

Mel Gibson & James Garner in "Maverick"? Or how about Owen Wilson & Jackie Chan in "Shanghai Noon"?

I know that it is a movie I saw as a kid (during the 70's). The memory is a funny thing. I know I saw The Sting as a kid and I probably am remembering that scene wrong or mixing it up with another scene. ;-)

This is a movie-related question... it has nothing to do with a DVD release.

Moving to Movie Talk.
