I thought it was great. The scene with the two guys having dinner with their parents as hilarious.

"Diiiiiick. Diiiiiick. You heard me!"

I always thought that guy looks like Danny Huston abit when he was wearing the shades. I love that whole seqence.

Great film BTW. The fact the DVD has Carrot Top as a commentary member is brilliant.

wasn't an uncut version of this film supposed to be released sometime? or am i way off...

i had heard that it was naturally an NC-17 rating

Yeah, I think so. According to IMDb, the French DVD is uncut as is the UK Blu-ray.

i've always liked this movie in a sick and twisted kinda way. i have it on dvd and watch it every now and again. some of the visuals are cool, if not out of left field.

I loved the film also. It was one of my 2 favorite films of 2002. (The other being 25th Hour. Both films i would say have the distinction as being easily better than the novels upon which they are based.)
I was soooo happy i chose to see this in the theater. It was very shocking and I was amazed at the time they got away with an R rating. The soundtrack is amazing also and the visuals are something you cannot take your eye off for one second during the film.
Still one of the most impressive films i have seen this decade.

Interesting. I saw both of these films in theaters in 2002. Havent seen either one since. Didnt think they were bad, just werent anything special.

The biggest thing I remember from 25th hour was the shot overlooking Ground Zero.
