I'm primarily using the sale for preorders...so its nice to have the payments spread out. Goodfellas SE comes to about $16.

Finally!! I was able to log in and place my first order. Glad nothing timed out on me. Guess I will place another in a few days when the traffic slows down on the site.

Wouldn't having one big order and using the one code be better than smaller orders and using all of the codes?

So far I have walked 933 steps and walked two-fifths of a mile while trying to place my order. I know this because I am wearing a pedometer on my belt. This is just from me walking around my house while waiting for the web pages to load.

Update:
I'm up to 1203 steps and 250 situps. I only have gotten two items in my cart so far.

I'd say you two are on opposite sides of the health spectrum.

Can't beleive this sale is back, I was just thinking about ordering DVDs this afternoon and was wishing for a sale somewhere. I spent hundreds last Christmas season at DDD using all the promo codes.

I'm going to start with a few pre orders.

It doesn't matter at all if you place 1 order or 30 small ones. As long as you buy the same thing and you get the same discount everytime the price is the same.

I had a big list of preorders but I ended up only buying 2 things

Anyone know if I preorder something now and their price goes down upon release, will I get the better price?

I'm on dial-up, so I guess I'll wait a few hours. I only get time-out messages. Meanwhile, probably think of more and more things to get.

order confirmation page never came up and i waited probably over 30 minutes.

luckily, i checked my email out of curiosity:

THE SHIELD-SEASON 1 1 $43.91
THE SHIELD-SEASON 2 1 $43.91
THE DECALOGUE 1 $47.98
UMBRELLAS OF CHERBOURG 1 $18.55
DARK CITY 1 $ 5.99
------------- ---------------------------------------- -------- --------
Promo Discount: $32.07
Tax: $0.00
Shipping Price: $0.00
Order Total: $128.27

now if i only remember which coupon code i used ... will check later to make sure my order shows up in my order status page.

uh, u definitely want to use a cc and not a debit card. fyi, last time i used a paypal debit card to get an extra 1.5% back but they kept authorizing my card for the entire order everytime a backordered item shipped. Major headache if you're placing a jumbo order.

Darn! Can't believe the sale is back!

Damn! The home page wouldn't even load. The site must be hammered hard right now!

There are two coupons now, right? USAToday and DVDTalk. When do they expire?
