Look at that traffic... :( Argh!!!!

Finally, some familiar locations.

Try to find Leslie down on 6th street, and see if heshe will hold the crayon for you while you take a picture. :)

We stopped right in front of the capital, and took a quick picture. I think the State Trooper thought I was shooting the finger at him, because He chased us away.

Here comes Yellow-Green!

Yellow-Green and I get along famously.... here's why:

Yellow-Green loves classical music. Here, he tries to get an inside look at my violin:

...and an even closer look...

Yellow-Green had a lovely safari outing with Elly the Elephant:

He also loves the Patriots (and all Boston-area teams!):

Here, Yellow-Green poses with his favorite books:

A nice earthy color, Yellow-Green was also quite at home on a witch's altar:

...and last, but not least, a self-portrait, with Yellow-Green:

I LIED! LAST BUT NOT LEAST IS JACKIE CHAN! MWAH HA HA!

Crayon #2(color) has ARRIVED!!!

The postman brought colored paraffin goodness to Adrian MI today. Crayon #2 has arrived.

For those of you who don't know, Crayola has introduced four new colors, but has not yet named them. They are running a contest on their website to give the 4 new crayons names.

Thus said, my adoption card is left blank. Crayola is not releasing my baby's name until some time in October, so I had to christen her myself.

She's a wily beauty, from first glance a rich burgundy. I felt I needed to learn more before I could give her an appropriate name. But, I decided that I would not give her a noogie just to see what she looked like on paper.

Gently rubbing her bottom with a scrap of vellum showed that she is actually very pink when she's laid out on paper.

So, until the Crayola gang make a decision, my baby #2 shall be named "Binkundy" in honor o her bichromatic nature. Binky, for short.

Binky is now resting comfortably after her long journey, but wants me to tell everyone that she is anxious to have her picture taken and shown to her siblings and their companions.

I'll retrieve my camera from the office tomorrow and get pics up very soon.

/me wants a crayon

*sad*

Preacher 08-29-03 10:45 PM

Some beautiful pictures by all. Working on a calculation of how far these crayons have traveled to get to their new homes. Will post once they have all arrived.

After Saturday's post/mail can everyone who has not received one yet send me an email? Want to keep track of which ones are taking how long. And who is still waiting.

Good Night.

Tsar Chasm 08-29-03 11:22 PM

#4 hasn't arrived as of today, I won't know about an arrival til Tuesday. I sure hope it arrives by next Thursday, #4 and I are going to tour Ohio.

Installing Exchange 2000 :(

I have 3 offices (Cleveland, Bucyrus and Cincinnati) that each need to be migrated to Ex2K. It is a one night job but I wasn't going to fly all the way from Portland 3 times. I'll have plenty of spare time to kick around. I figure the Rock-n-roll hall of fame and maybe a pro game while I am tooling around.

Recommendations?

Pro games in Cincinnati and Cleveland. R&R hall of fame is pretty cool. Lots of good places to party over at the Flats in Cleveland. Believe it or not Cleveland is a pretty cool town.

I'm going to take my camera today with me to the course, with Orange-Red. Hopefully my golfing group won't look at me too oddly. :)

I found Tumbleweed's head laying on my printer... How do I make it stick? Glue?

twikoff 08-30-03 12:06 PM

so I would assume you could stick it together and go lightly around the edges with a match

IdgIe49 08-30-03 01:01 PM

my friend on IRC told me to sharpen him, i was like *gasp* no way :)

i'm just waiting for preacher to o.k. sending lots of pics to his e-mail so he can post them here. mauve and lavender had some fun. i have mauve and my friend has lavender. and i'm not sure if the pics will be suitable for the 'other' section. they may belong in 'mature' -so parental advisory is suggested. :D

IdgIe49 08-30-03 04:27 PM

 twikoff, I took your advice, and now tumbleweed looks like he's got elephantitis.
