Check out this ebay seller

Check out this guy's auctions

Note the Old IBM typewriter. Asking $.01 cents. As of this moment, no bids. Note seller pays shipping and will ship internationally

Per description, seller knows this and is hoping the auction will pay for the shipping.

Check out his coctail (sic) stirrers. Read his descriptions. It's freakin hilarious. Like if one of our users (starts with D, ends with L) went on an ebay selling spree.

In reviewing his past auctions, he has indeed sold stuff for only 1 cent and paid for shipping. One has to ask...

WHY?

Cocktail Straws

Typewriter

Crayons!

Pool

204 positive feedbacks (100%), though.

I like this line from his Kiddie Pool auction:
"Because of the possibility of a small kid drownding in the little water that it holds, the bidder and buyer agree to hold me harmless and free of any and all product liability."

Just a side note. The Harlequin Romances has 5 bids but is at 1 cent. That tells you something as a seller. The bidder panicked 4 times after the initial bid and upped the bid (in proxy).

So who knows how high that person is willing to go. Unless someone else bids, they get it for 1 cent. I wonder if one of those is rare or something.

He needs lessons in marketing.

He's been a good buyer for most of his feedback. He's new at selling.

Wish I hadn't missed this item: Head Cleaner for 8-track

My thought was that he's buying and selling feedback. But why he'd ship a typewriter internationally is beyond me though. The cost of that would be more than ANY feedback is worth.

My initial thought also, but the items do not make sense. Why bother with the descriptions, pictures, and why things like a kiddie pool and a typewriter. You don't lose money for feedback. And if it was feedback, it would be a lot more little things. And the most common way is to buy them, not sell them.

I wonder if understands how much it would cost to ship that typewriter to Taiwan?

The Mind Gymnasium...A New Age Guide To Self Realization.

Maybe he should read that before he sells it for a penny.

His descriptions are priceless.

Randy, are you the high bidder on those crayons?

Speaking of you know who, you guys have GOT to check out his entry into the Carrie discussion over in the Movie Forum. The very definition of "Too Much Information".

Sorry, I had to take that out. What pisses me off is I deleted most of that this morning and he put it back. I know it's entertaining, but getting that graphic (crave attention much?) in the movie and DVD forums is not okay. Sigh.

The *real* question is, How the heck did you find this guy's stuff? Searching for a good deal on ol "straws" or "crayons"?

I totally understand why you had to do that. I was surprised that it was still there when I read it. Maybe a certain someone should be introduced to the mature forum.

Typewriters! My kid was wondering what it would be like to obessively collect typewriters, and if you did, how much would they be. The 1 cent and free international shipping brought this one to her attention. She then checked out the rest of his auctions.

I felt sorry for him, so I bid on the crayons and straws. Easy to ship.

I may have to ask the seller a question first....

Exactly how many still have a very pointy tip?
