mtucker

the (matrix cover) jpegs on dvdcoverart are about as high-quality you can get. you're most likely limited by your printer, not the jpeg format (since the compression is set to minimum)

Has anyone considered making DVD covers for The Ewok Movies?? i just got these copied on vcd and would love covers for them

Disc-Flipper 06-02-02 08:33 PM

I'd like to see the Ewok Movie covers made, as well as one for the Star Wars Holiday Special - done in the same gold-banner style as the Phantom Menace DVD. Maybe even covers for Troops and the other Star Wars fan films.

JJE-187 06-02-02 09:45 PM

Yeah, Disc I forgot about the Holiday Special. I would love a cover for it too, also Mr Moody made a custom cover for The Dark Redemption for me. If you e-mail him he might still have it. it isn't matched to the other covers though. It's just a pretty sweet custom cover

Maybe some industrious soul could upload a Photoshop template of the Star Wars "gold banner" cover... so that other (slightly less) industrious people can start making and uploading SW covers.

For those interested in creating Band of Brothers cover[s]

As I posted in DVD Coverart's forum...

I have scanned and posted the Band of Brother's promotional flyer that I recieved from HBO before the program aired (get it while you can). I thought maybe someone might be interested in using it to make DVD covers, since it will more than likely come in a gatefold case.

If anyone out there has the VHS cover or laser disc cover to Song of the South, could you help me out. I'm looking for any artwork to use on my custom cover.

Let me know.

Av19fla 06-03-02 11:39 PM

I'm still looking for a front cover scan of the Nixon 2-disc special edition that was packaged in a double alpha case, NOT the snapper from the Oliver Stone collection.

Randy810 06-03-02 11:51 PM

joeyohhhh

I have the laser disc japanese import. I don't know if it is what you need. There is japanese lettering across the front of the cove.

If it is the one where the Japanese characters are on the top, it'd be interested in a scan of it. 300 dpi would be fine. Can I drop you an email with my other email address, since my Yahoo one is limited with file attachment size?

JJE-187 06-04-02 01:17 AM

Joey ni know of a website that has Posters, Lobby Cards and other stuff if your interested.

JoeyOhhhh 06-04-02 09:11 AM

I'd be interested in the website as well.

Does anyone have a copy of "They Live!" that they can scan? I'll do the cleanup work, but I need this cover very badly

phraseturner 06-04-02 05:20 PM

i have the VHS NTSC cover to Song of the South, from a release at least 7 years ago. Japanese text front and back, but similar "The Classic" black diamond design of the other older Disney VHS titles.

i'd be happy to scan it and send to Matt to post foe downloading.

Randy810 06-04-02 05:42 PM

mdx

I am trying my first scan. I have tried getting to your tutorial and cannot access your site.
I have an HP scanner and the scanning surface does not allow me to scan a complete Laser disc cover. Do you have any help for me?

Thanks in advance
Randy
