Top Ten movies of the 1740s

I was just curious, since everyone seems to have favs. of the 90s, 60s 50s, ect.

So, what is your fav. film of the 1740s?

I liked the original Godzilla vs. Filmguy. It took 50 workmen to roll a canvas one full round each minute, but when Gojira squishes that silly punk filmguy, that's the ultimate payback!

There were NO movies in the 1740's.

The first speaking movies started in the 1920's and the silent ones weren't until the really later part of the 1800's.

Pretty sure if my cinematography class from 6 years ago is still somewhere inside in there.

Either you're utilizing the most deadpan humor I've ever seen or you're completly unaware that this thread is a joke. :D

Actually I DIDN'T think this thread was a joke, I just thought the original poster had messed up and put 1740 instead of 1940.

With the quality of threads posting up lately a 1940's thread is hardly unthinkable....

BTW the navigation for replying is awesome now... tab to reply... tab to submit... :) And it now quotes just the last person, no more partial deletes!

So a poll about favorite movies of the 1940's would not be to your liking? Why not? This is a movie forum.
