I am heading off for Bangkok and Phuket in a couple of months - can anyone suggest where the best prices for dvds are?

Can you tell the difference with the vcds?

Thanks,

Beejay

Copies (fairly crap quality) abound.
For legit, try Mahboonkrong Shopping Centre Lvl 4.
Picked up R3 Charlie's Angels over there about 2 weeks ago for about US$20.
Pantip Plaza is brilliant for VCDs and PC stuff (ahem, backups)
If you need anymore info, let me know...

While I've never been to Thailand, I once went to England with my wife, son and daughter. My daughter wasn't more than 8 at the time and my son was 13. My wife and I had been going through some tough times, so we figured the best thing would be a vacation. It wasn't until around 3pm on the day we left that it began to break down. Our daughter was missing and my wife was threatening to leave me. We later found our daughter, though things were never right between my wife and I again. 2 years later she filed for divorce from me. I've never met another woman like her. I know she's seeing someone in Missouri where she lives with her parents, but I hope that some day we'll at least be friends again.

Off topic and has nothing to do with DVDs - these forums are not the place for personal therapy and midnight ramblings. You waste the time of forum members who read these threads for information and exchanges of ideas regarding DVDs and related topics.

Is it just me, or does "Bangkok and Phuket" sound more like instructions you would GIVE to someone in Bangkok and Phuket?
