My last order - Jean de Florette/Manon des Sources - cost $37.88 shipped, customs stung me for £6.80!!!
...seems like no let up even though Christmas is over, so if you can split your order I would and you can use a refer-a-friend GC to almost cover the extra shipping costs.

Customs have been really cracking down on imported DVDs recently; apparently, since they can't seize porn anymore (for the most part) they're having to find other avenues to vent their rage against the taxpayers...

I received my Toy Story Ultimate Toy Box and didn't get stung for customs despite $55 being slapped all over the box. They were bound to get tighter over the festive period but have probably calmed down again now so more will get through unnoticed
