Before Graduation Aka Hakusen Nagashi Bootleg?
Before Graduation Aka Hakusen Nagashi Bootleg or pirated copy?
I got this set on A site that trades DVD's I'm almost 99.8% sure it is A pirated copy or maybe from China? As it only has Chinese subs but it plays in my region 1 DVD player, just can not understand any word or subtitle. So is this a bootleg? Anyone have any idea what site or country this set came from? As I have A dispute to get my money back if it is A bootleg or non region 1 set I get my credits back. Language: Japanese Subtitles: Chinese only Region: plays in USA DVD player http://i63.tinypic.com/4smphh.jpg http://i64.tinypic.com/2isw1h4.jpg Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Before-Graduat...akusen+Nagashi Zoommovie.com http://www.zoommovie.com/en-my/produ...akusen-nagashi |

The member who sent this said it was the official Japanese release.
I'm not really sure about this, but I do not own A whole lot of foreign movies that I bought second hand. It might be the official Japanese release, just kind not finding any set that looks like this on the web. Only has Chinese subs. No region listed on box or disc. Kind of looks like A pirate dvd set from the USA.I'm just not real sure. Having no English subs is the only thing that I'm pissed about. Have not watch much of the first disc,so not sure of the picture quality. |
Re: Before Graduation Aka Hakusen Nagashi Bootleg?
It looks like a typical release for the Chinese mainland market. It has an ISRC number and catalog number (MD-287). Only thing I don't see is the distributor company or a logo but the images are out of focus. Question is, did the seller specify whether it had English subs or not? Oftentimes, CN DVD subtitles are mislabeled, either with or w/o and the opposite is true. On your back cover, look for 英文 (English) and 中文 (Chinese) in the box next to the AR (4:3)
Here's various JP Amazon releases (R2): http://www.amazon.co.jp/%E7%99%BD%E7.../dp/B000063C4C |

Discs labeled with a permanent marker? How is that NOT a bootleg?
And a Chinese release that leaves the same Japanese writing and info on the back is another clear giveaway. |
