BBC Robin Hood on Blu-ray in Germany
For those of us who'd like to have the recent BBC Robin Hood series in HD past the first series, they're available on Blu-ray in Germany. I've seen scans of the packaging, and they're region free.
One thing I don't know for certain as of yet is if they're in 1080p, 1080i 50Hz, or 1080i 60Hz. Some German websites I've looked at suggest that series one (which is available in North America anyway) is 1080i, and the others are 1080p.
One positive is that series 2 and 3 have DTS-HD 5.1 sound in both the original English and dubbed into German.
They're all available in two double-disc sets per series, and are selling for about 20 Euros per set on Amazon Germany. They remove 19% for VAT to non-EU buyers, and shipping is 3 Euros per order + 3 Euros per kilo. Placing two sets into my cart, the shipping came to 3,84 Euros so it's reasonable.

E-mailed the company, with a little help from on-line translators, and the answer I've received is:
die Robin Hood-Blu-rays haben 1080i und 50 Hz.
Which means they'll play in my LG but not my Magnavox. Really must replace the Magnavox, as it's the one connected to A/V system; the LG is connected to the bedroom TV.
