Where are the best deals for dvd's in canada?
The best i have found so far is future shop, and walmart, yes, walmart. but even those I have found some of the best dvd's are still pretty expensive. any ideas of where else to go? thanks |
absound.ca has some of the lowest prices all around except canadians have to pay tax on those purchases. Still very low prices.

Give such stores are <A HREF="http://www.hmv.com" target="_blank">HMV</a>, <a href="http://www.video-now.com" target="_blank">Video Now</a>, <A href="http://www.dvdboxoffice.com" target="_blank">Dvd Box Office</a> and <a href="http://www.bn.com" target="_blank">Barnes and Noble</a>. Mind you, Barnes and Noble are in no way cheap but if you use coupons etc, you can get some good deals through them.

HMV will price match online stores. I always go to chapters.ca and furtureshop.ca to get their prices then to HMV for a price match..
|
Really?! I didn't know Hmv price matched. Thanks for that TLamm!
|
Mine does anyway :) They dont even check it out, if its above there cost they match it...

HMV price match
I e-mailed them and in a long pr/customer service form letter the basic answer was.. no they don't do price matching. The online store atleast doesn't, maybe the previous poster was talking about a b&m HMV?
