The three Stooges DVD Collection is it RCE region 1?

Hi there I'm new to this site, just wondering is the three stooges dvd collection volumes in RCE protection with Region 1. I was reading about this that it's a extra protection on the dvds and with this rce encoded on some dvds i read it won't play on other countries dvd players unless if it's region 1 (U.S & Canada) even if it's region free. I am from Australia.

I am hoping if someone knows if the three stooges volume dvds are set to this RCE Region 1.

Do studios still do Region Code Enhancement? I thought they did away with it.
