Is anyone else missing november shipments from amazon.com?.


I´m still missing shipments from 11/9 - 21/9 and 28/9.
Hope i´m not the only one.

Well, I think I'm done with Amazon... I can't stand waiting 2-3 weeks for a dvd. Unless I have gc, I order from www.play247.com which are much faster (4 days) & reliable, but also expensive...

You are right. It is a choice: be patient and pay less or pay more (not that much) and get it fast.

For me it's the second option!!

Waiting for a 15-11 shipment... If your shipment is more than 26 days late, just contact Amazon and ask for a replacement shipment.

I'm pretty sure they expect you to wait longer than that for international deliveries.

What has everyone's experiences been with Amazon and missing international orders?

I have not received my order sent on 21 Nov, 2000. Paid mostly by GCs, so my Credit Card wasn't charged much, but I still haven't received it. Emailed on 19 Dec (probably too early) - was told to wait until 28 Dec, emailed again on 28 Dec - was told to wait until 1 Jan. Waited until end of the week 5 Jan, still nothing, so emailed again, but haven't heard anything yet, which may be understandable due to the weekend.

Will I see this order, or should I just write it off as one of those things?

Hi,

I've waited 6 weeks before I contacted Amazon. They told me to wait a week extra. After that week I still didn't receive my dvd's. Contacted Amazon again, and they send the dvd's by International Priority Shipping. Last week I received the second shipment. So I'm satisfied about the service. Only this package had a larger declared value than the first shipment, so I had to pay more taxes (twice more as when I had to pay for the first shipment). So I send Amazon a mail about this. I expected that Amazon would give up the same value for the customs. So it's their fault that I had to pay more taxes.

Well - in the meantime i received 3 out of 4 nov. orders.

Shipped 06.11 - received 8.12

Shipped 20.11 - received 4.01

Shipped 20.11 - not received

Shipped 27.11 - received 5.01

Amazon re-sent me this missing order (2 DVDs - an sent each DVD seperatly via Int.Express
?!?)
.
Also - i ordered 2 DVDs at hmv.com (mailed out 12.12 and 16.12 and received them 26.12 and 29.12) - It looks like amazon is getting slower and slower (i´m still waiting for 2 orders shipped by amazon 19.12).....
