I heard a couple of days ago a movie called SHURI and it was a very big hit in Korea.Except for Japan do anyone know where to get this title?

If this is the same movie that is sometimes known as Shiri or Swiri I can highly recommend it. You can get it either cheap on VCD from the usual Hong Kong based retailers (dddhouse has it for about $5) or pretty expensive ($36) at KoreaPop on DVD without subtitles.

Edko in Hong Kong has just released an all-region disc of Shiri with removable English subtitles. You can get it at http://www.pokerindustries.com/ for about $20.

There's a review thread at Asian DVD guide: http://pub5.ezboard.com/fhongkongdvd...icID=203.topic

well.. as a native korean, I can say there are over 30 korean movies released on DVD.
Sorry for that most of them do not have english subtitles or track. ^^;
(check www.dvd.co.kr)

Anyway, Shiri, Soul Guardians and Christmas in August were released on Hong Kong version DVDs, so you can see them with english subtitles. Check them at hivizone or at other shops.

Oh.. I forgot to say www.dvd.co.kr is a korean web-page. ^^;; Then, visit www.angelpop.com, an english web-site, and you can find some korean movies that has english subtitles such as Love, Spring in my hometown, Beat, and etc.

I just checked the www.hivizone.com, and they were selling Shiri and Christmas in August at $17, before 10% discount.

P.S. Actually Shiri and Christmas in August were released on DVD in Japan, too. Inspite of their high prices, I bought japanese versions because they have more supplements.
