They're usually quicker than that but just for the record, the second last order I got took ten weeks plus to get to me.

My first order from DVD Empire took about 3 weeks (2 DVD titles), and the second order took only 2 weeks (3 DVD titles). Both were using standard shipping.

Mine was shipped on the same day and I'm still waiting...

Yours monstrously,

Mine shipped on the 14th, still no sign. Iím a little hacked off as their shipping isnít cheap ($30 for 10 titles) and Iím almost certain to get taxed. Also my local customs office is actually in my post office so there is absolutely no delay caused by customs and yet I still donít have them three weeks later.

I recently got titles from C&L in Canada where their shipping for the same number of discs was $35CAD (roughly $22US) and they arrived in four days!

Is prompt reasonably priced shipping too much to ask or are companies always looking to "make" on their shipping to cover low disc prices?

Fellow Monsters,
I did notice that my credit card bill had dvdempire's location listed as "Mars".

Mmmm... if that's the case, then the 1-12 weeks they state for shipping is a bit on the optimistic side!

Would the first UK resident to receive their box please, to paraphrase Colin Clive, shout
"It's arrived! It's ARRIVED! IT'S ARRIVED!!"

Yours suggestively,
Lik.
