Does anyone know a site where Japanese movies on Japanese (region 2) DVDs are listed that are subtitled in English? I browsed through all the discs available at Sazuma, but it takes a lot of time...
So far this is what I found:
Souseiji (Gemini)
Chinpira (Two Punks)
Nobuo Nakagawa Horror Collection / Jigoku (Sinners of Hell, The)
Nobuo Nakagawa Horror Collection / Bourei Kaibyou Yashiki
Nobuo Nakagawa Horror Collection / Kaidan Kasanegafuchi
Midori no Machi (Green Town)
Gohatto
Uchiage hanabi, shita kara Miruka? Yoko kara Miruka?: Third Edition
Ganbatte Ikimasshoi (Give It All)
Fukurou No Shiro (Owl's Castle)
Samehada Otoko To Momojiri Onna (Shark Skin Man and Peach Hip Girl)
Ghost Soup
Odoru Dai Sousasen The Movie
Hana-Bi
Kikujiro No Natsu

Hivizone have a small selection of Japanese DVDs, all of which (I beleive) have English subtitles, but I'v got no idea about the quality of them, though.

Anybody know where to get them at better prices? I've been looking for Sharkskin Man & Peach Hip Girl. Hear it's very good.
A place for Hong Kong releases of NON-Hong-Kong movies would be good too. Eg, Korean films like Soul Guardians and French films like Dobermann. All good trashy stuff.

Allmost every HK music/movie store carries Soul Guardians. Do you have any near you? On a side note, Jap discs released by Jap companies (as opposed to hk imports of jap movies) are usually very good quality.

ipkevin,
I don't know of a cheaper way to get Japanese DVDs as they've a pretty high MSRP and there's no way to get it cheaper than that. www.cdjapan.co.jp has the same prices as sazuma does and they claim to be giving it away for the MSRP as well.
Very cheap prices for non-HK movies released in HK are to befound at www.dvdshelf.com but their shipping rates are enormous.

Although I don't want to stir old topics up, but the trusty "Hong Kong Films On DVD" now has the page I wished for. You can find it here: http://216.198.212.26/japan/
