Let's get the ball rolling, we need some half decent lists...

From http://www.euro.dvdexpress.com/, who I think are the only European e-tailers with coupons, you get a e10 coupon for spending e25, so I'm sure there's a half-decent deal there somewhere.

Bit different to the £15 DVD's you can effectively get for $5 here in the U.S. Anyway, I'm looking forward to nabbing the Corrs concert DVD's when I get back, they don't do those in Region 1. Lovely girls a'int they http://talk.dvdtalk.com/ubb/wink.gif

Thanks for the effort, but a lot of those titles are "budget" for a reason ie. the transfers are sub-par and a lot are full screen or "suitable for all TV screens" as they so euphemistically put it. In addition I think Madacy may have a fellow traveller in Carlton Classics who seem intent on mangling some great movies, witness their travesty of The Ipcress File, 2.35.1 reduced to 4:3 pan and scan with 0 extras for £9.99 list. Whereas in the States Anchor Bay bring out a feature packed disc with a superb 2.35.1 anamorphic transfer.

Don’t even get me started on Glengarry Glen Ross! In all but a very few cases the region one release (if available) is superior and often cheaper.

Oh, ones that jumped out for me were:
8 Heads In A Duffel Bag
Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty (Disney???)
Jungle Book & Snow White (Disney???)
Educating Rita

The others aren't exactly superb deals.

I'm still yet to get any Region 2's, I suppose I can expect poorer quality (i.e. extra features, lesser conversions) in most cases compared to the stacks of R1's I've got at the moment... ?

The cheap titles that sound like Disney are not. They're the cheap versions that other places like Reel have.
As I mentioned in my post, they have the latest Disney releases like Jungle Book and Mulan at 30% off which makes them 21.31 Euros (13 squids). This isn't bad if you can use a coupon as well.
