With the intention of getting the conversation started, I will also call to your attention (though you might already be aware of it), that there was a pretty nice Jess Franco boxset put out by a company called VIP out of Switzerland. Problem is that I believe it is out-of-print or if not rather pricey when compared to the UK sets. You can see a listing of it by searching JESS FRANCO GOLD COLLECTION over at xploitedcinema.com or hkflix.com. It has 8 films...4 of which seem to be the ones found in the 1st UK Jess Franco set. Also, and I'm really not certain of this at all, but for some reason I seem to recall that the UK sets might have some minor cuts....really not sure about this at all though. But, yes, the UK sets might give you the most bang for your buck. Hope someone more helpful than I can chime in with more insight as to your various questions.

Not in the sets being discussed, but I really like Franco's EUGENIE DE SADE, and Soledad Miranda...darned shame what happened to her.
