Knights of the Teutonic Order (Polish: Krzyżacy) is a 1960 Polish film directed by Aleksander Ford based on the novel of the same name by Henryk Sienkiewicz.

The plot is situated in the late-14th century and early-15th century Poland and centers around the Polish–Lithuanian–Teutonic War and the final Battle of Grunwald. The film attracted to cinema masses of viewers and remains one of the most attended films in Polish history. It was a Polish submission to the 33rd Academy Awards.

It was released on 15 July 1960 on the 550th anniversary of the battle of Grunwald.
One of few polish historical epic movies finally got release it deserved on its 50th anniversary. There was only butchered, cropped DVD with terrible image quality, but because of 600th anniversary of Grunwald battle (or first battle of Tannenberg) it was digitally remastered and restored. At this moment new release is only available as newspaper extra but this situation should change, and there is BD release announced for the third quarter of the year.

Old release had english subtitles, currently available restored edition unfortunately has not.
