Cool As Ice (Vanilla Ice) 9/6/2010 UK DVD

Yes, "Cool As Ice", the infamous Vanilla Ice flick that everyone has been waiting for is coming from Second Sight, of all labels.
Sadly, no extras...

Re: Cool As Ice (Vanilla Ice) 9/6/2010 UK DVD

Just so I read that right:

When a girl has a heart of stone, there's only one way to melt it. Just add Ice!

Yeah, I "see what they did there," but didn't they actually mix up the idea? Were they going for irony?

"Wait, add ice? Ice can't melt anything! Oh, now I get it. Ice, not ice."

Nice, I still have my 'copy' from eBay, until a R1 is released.

Saw this at a midnight screening a few years back. Legendary. I might have to grab this if it's OAR and cheap.

I have this on laserdisc. There was a new 16x9 transfer on Netflix, don't know if it's still up.

Man, I need to get this movie.

It truely is a masterpiece and a legend of American Cinema, in the leagues of Citizen Kane and Gone With The Wind.

<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/P9yaam0p_BA&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/P9yaam0p_BA&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>

Or perhaps my favorite line, when he crashes the party at the 'Sugar Shack' and grabs the mic and says this brilliantly writen line, "I'ma drop some funky lyrics."

My grandmother sat through this with my brother and me back in the day. She hated it less than she hated Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. In any event, I'm hopeful at least a U.S. release--if not a Blu-ray version--is around the bend.

I might just have to get it. And then, maybe, I'll go across the street to schling a schlong.

There is US DVD, but it's a M.O.D. title (DVD-R) from Universal.
