Is Synkronized USA (SKD) DVD a legit DVD company?

Has anyone ever seen the DVDs sold by Synkronized USA (SKD)? I noticed that Virgin Megastore and amazon sell many of their DVDs, mostly foreign movies I think. But they look like bootlegs to me, especially on the DVD back covers. They look home-made. What is this company? Do they make good quality dvds? Are they legit?

Yeah, pretty sure they are. Their site lists their distributor as Koch, and dvdaf doesn't have the usual "unauthorized release" next to the dvd info.

Unfortunalely all DVDs that I have seen had VHS quality transfer with burned-in subtitles. They are worth only a rent.
