DVD buying/store advise needed: I'm going to Spain and Portugal this April
 

Can anyone recommend any big or underground DVD stores in Madrid, Spain & in Lisbon, Portugal?

Does anyone recommend any new Spanish DVDs and Portugal DVDs to pick up during the last week of April? I have no idea what to expect from Portuguese DVDs - I know nothing about them and what kind of films they carry in their country.

I've been in Spain and I picked up:
Yo soy la juani (bigas Luna)
Las edades de lulu (bigas Luna)
Anonymous aka sound&bulls (short film in style of jeunet or del toro)
You're the one (jose luis garci)
Donkey xote animated movie
Gisaki animated movie

Any other Spain recommendations before leaving to portugal tomorrow? And does anyone recommend any portugese dvds yet?

can't think of anything but in portugal they have a huge boxset of Manoel de Oliveira dvds. 22 total with english subs minus 2. if you are into that kind of stuff. i've wanted to pick it up but is too much money i don't have.

I would love to get my hands on the Spain [R2 version] of Cannonball Run 2. This crap we have in USA is only 1:33 vs Non anamorphic 1:85....
I'm with the OP, where is a good place to purchase via Spain online????

formula72, last I followed, for R2 Spain DVDs we usually purchased from online e-tailers such as DVDGO.com, starscafe.com, and fnac.es. It looks like the DVD you are looking for is out-of-print though as it is not in-stock at the aforementioned sites.
