Double Life of Veronique: MK2 vs. Criterion
I'm using Double Life of Veronique this semester in a class, and since we have no region-free players on campus, I'm going to have to use the Criterion version instead of my MK2 version.
For anyone familiar with the film and with both DVD releases, my question is, does the Criterion add the extra couple of minutes that Kieslowski added to the American release of the film, or is it the same ending as the European release?

It has the original ending. The American ending is a bonus feature on the Criterion. http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film2/DVDre..._veronique.htm

Oh, I see. It's in the menu screencaps. I was looking at the actual review and the list of extras, and I didn't see anything that mentioned the American ending.
Well, that's good. I want to show the European release, but this gives me the opportunity to show the extra scene and talk about it after we've talked about the film.
Thanks.
