Real quick question. What's the best version of God of Cookery? Any region as long as it has English subs.

I've been waiting for ages of an anamorphic, english subtitled DVD of God of Cookery and From Beijing With Love.

I know that the French got an anamorphic dvd of From Beijing From Love...i'm not sure if they got one for God of Cookery though...

Slightly unrelated, where are the anamorphic DVDs of Storm Riders - France and Germany?

There's no God of Cookery release in France, Stephen Chow films available are :
Chinese Odyssey, Shaolin Soccer, Kung Fu Hustle, From Beijing With Love and CJ7.

Diskotek Media announced that a bluray edition of "The Stormriders" is coming soon.

I have the Hong Kong release which has english subs. It's non-anamorphic but I believe I paid only like $4-$5 on DDDhouse for it.

This just got added to Netflix, it's never looked better imho. Hopefully this means a blu-ray will be out eventually.

Thanks for the info. I still have the original HK dvd release. I heard they broadcasted an HD version in HK a couple of years ago. This is probably that same one on Netflix.
