Good to know I'm not alone. I too have a package ordered from Amazon.uk which was sent DHLGA and has been sitting in Los Angeles customs since the 17th. Usually all my orders are sent via the USPS and get here within a week or so. Guess I have to keep waiting.

How does Amazon UK determine whether to use Royal Air Mail or DHLGA? A certain weight threshold? I've ordered a LOT of stuff though them and RAM usually gets here in under a week... DHL takes 10-14 days.

Never paid customs.... I'd say my largest order was around $150 at a time. Ordered dozens of discs from there.

My last two orders with Amazon UK shipped DHLGA and one still has yet to arrive. The other one sat in customs for about 10 days. Every other order that I've gotten through Amazon UK has shipped Royal Air Mail. I sent in an email asking about what was the determining facyor in how their items were shipped but have yet to receive a reply. I'm going to be preordering [rec] and [rec]2, so I'll find out then if they've simply just switched.

Now usa custom checking the dvds very stickly,your packages will be very easy to get sezied.

Any updates on Amazon.co.uk's recent choice of shipping carrier for US-bound orders and the US custom transit delay issue?

No problems in Austin... shipments are still coming slow-ass DHLGA though.

That's too bad, as I've been really spoiled with super-fast transit time via Royal Mail.
