Tale of Two Sisters on Blu
Just discovered while browsing play.com's site: Tale of Two Sisters is being released on Blu Ray, 23rd June in the UK.
One of my favourite ever ghost/horror films. Can't wait. |

One of my favourite ever ghost/horror films. Can't wait. Do you know if this like most Blu's will work on the PS3? Or is it on of the few that are coded for certain regions. |

I don't think Tartan region codes their discs. The Seventh Seal and Oldboy from the UK are region free so I would assume their new releases like Tale of Two Sisters, Lady Vengeance, I'm a Cyborg, etc. would be region free also.
Entertainment in Video on the other hand region locks all of their releases. |

I've read before that studios only release new releases region coded. (That is, studios that decide to region code their discs, like Sony and Disney.) As far as I know, all catalogue releases are region free. Of course, a lot of companies (like Warner) don't region code at all. :)

Actually FOX are the most ardent supporter of region-coding. All other studios are rather flexible about it.
edit: These are the rest of the BR upcoming titles - 28/04 – Paranoid Park 26/05 – I’m A Cyborg 23/06 – The Proposition; Sky Blue 28/07 – A Tale of Two Sisters 25/08 – Lady Vengeance Pro-B |
