Recomendations please!!!
I recently watched Blackbook and I absolutely loved the movie from start to finish. If someone could recommend any other movies like this which is available at Blockbuster it would be great. I love thriller, suspense, movies with a lots of twists. It can be either foriegn or American.
Thanks |

Lives of Others definitely.

An obvious choice would be Verhoevens earlier film Soldier of Orange. Blackbook can in some ways almost be called Soldier of Orange 2 :) As they both deal with the Dutch resistance during WWII.

Melville's Army of Shadows (1969) - I enjoyed "Black Book" but some of its thunder was stolen by my having viewed "Army of Shadows" earlier. To me they seemed generally similar, though I'm clear in my preference for "Army of Shadows" as the greater film.
