Masters of Cinema promotion at Amazon.co.uk

MOC Promotion The prices may not work out any better than CDWOW on normal day after shipping. Maybe some warm deals there especially if you live in the UK and get free shipping. Nightmare Alley appears to be cheapest at 8.97GBP. I have the Fox R1 but wouldn't mind sportin' this on my MOC shelf.

I took a look at this sale yesterday and nothing looked cheaper than can be had at CD-WOW. I'm still considering getting Kwaidan since I can never find that particular title at CD-WOW.

Great disc. You should get it. I'm thinking of getting Diary of a Lost Girl since I don't see that one on CDWOW either. Wish they'd discount the Buster Keaton set.

Try blahdvd.com also - some are cheaper there and its free shipping to the US.

Amazon's shipping costs hurt these prices. The MoC Shoeshine has never been discounted heavily at CD-Wow, but after shipping with the Amazon sale it's still £12.42, including £3.08 for shipping. Tack on the credit card fee to the exchange rate and it's roughly the same price as CD-Wow.

Thanks samper, I've not heard of them. I'll check them out.

My Shoeshine cost $20.XX from blahdvd. It was even cheaper than CDWOW. But its not always the case. So I use CDWOW and blahdvd and price compare before I buy something - MOC or otherwise.

Blah is a reliable company -- except for one extremely annoying practice:

If you order something that's out of stock, you sometimes have to wait up to a couple of weeks for them to ship it out to you. Apparently, they wait until they have a certain number of orders for a particular out-of-stock title in order to make it worth their while to restock it. I guess that's the hidden drawback of free shipping.

As a result, it's best to opt for in-stock titles or out-of-stock titles that are likely to be popular.
