For Those Who've Ordered From Amazon.de: How do you do so if you don't Read German?
HI All.
I was wondering if someone could answer a question for me?
How does one order from Amazon of Germany if you do not speak / read
German?
I know that Google can translate certain pages into English But I can't
seem to figure out how to translate every page involved in the Checkout
process.
I already have an amazon account so I know I'm in the German database as
well.
I'm afraid of selecting an unreliable shipping method as I can't read
what it says.
Any help that you could provide in this matter would be greatly
appreciated.
Thanks.....

The site you provided may have the same thing except the description is still in German. The ordering portion can be switched to English.
Any ideas?
Thanks for your help so far Pro-B!

The set you are looking for is exclussive to Amazon.de so you have to order from them then.

I have had no problems;
What you need is two windows open: one to Amazon.us and to Amazon.de and use as a guide.
The template is almost exactly the same as the US-in fact, all of the Amazons.
Amazon will deduct VAT-Value Added Tax- from the total price-since you are not a citizen.
Dont know about JPC.de

Well, I was able to make my way to the final screen, but decided against placing the order when I saw that it was 14 euros to ship my item! That's twice as much as the DVD.
Does anyone know why it is so expensive? How can you afford to order DVDs from them? Is there another German DVD site that is cheaper?

It's not that hard if you're familiar with the Amazon web design, but if I need help I can ask a co-worker. I doubt there's a major language in the world that isn't spoken by at least one or two of them.

I've ordered from them and from the French store with no online translators helping me. It's easy, as wendersfan mentioned, because it follows the same format as the American site, and figuring out what specs are what are easy enough (the words used are often similar to English) and the same goes for entering in your payment methods. The specs for the DVDs are easy enough to figure out. If you already know what you want before you go there then there's no need to read the reviews.

Just a thought: reading one of the reviews on Amazon.de says that the new exclusive DVD is basically just the old DVD (no changes or improvements to a couple of errors), a second disc with pictures and trailers (no real bonus content). They're basically aying the only cool thing about it is the packaging.
Just an FYI.

That's right, I was making orders the same way on Amazon.de and Amazon.fr. By the way the best way to search for some German or any other websites to buy DVD is to type for example in Google the title of the film and the releasing company. If the German edition had the title translated into German you should put it like that.

I order from the German Amazon all the time. As someone said, it's the fact that the layout is indentical to the US and UK Amazon site that makes it easy to order.
Now, if you've never had an account with the US and UK Amazon site then it will prove to be a problem then.

Like nearly everyone else has mentioned - the order interface is almost identical to that of Amazon.com so having 2 windows open is the safest bet. Using an online translation engine also helps. But I've ordered from Amazon.de and their customer service has always been very helpful - in English! Give it a shot.
