La Terra Trema (SE-2DVD) Luchino Visconti

And one final post regarding the newly released 2DVD special edition of Visconti's La Terra Trema by Ripley's Home Video-Italia. Just finished watching it and I will be writing a review shortly but wanted to let you know that this new entirely English-friendly release is of Bellissima-esqie quality. With other words: top-notch!! Newly-restored and with superb transfer exceeding my boldest expectations the film looks stunning! RHV are indeed a top distrib.

Review will be up at the earliest late next week as due to my sickness I fell behind a bit.

(Will also be running a review for the newly released Luciano Tovoli's picture Il Generale dell'armata Morta with Marcello Mastroianni. Michel Piccoli, Anouk Aimee, also courtesy of Ripley-Italia and also English-friendly).

Bye,
Pro-B

And i for one am looking forward to reading your review.

I wasn't aware of this release but my curiosity was sparked when i saw this listed over at Xploited Cinema and was tempted to pick it up, which i'm sure i will in due course.
