hmm that's interesting seeing it was never released in the US (right?) i wonder if we will get an english friendly release by Tartan or so..

I don't know if it had a North American release but I've never seen it on VHS. Maybe it was released as Bad Night somewhere.

Strange it got a release in France last year As usual the French seem to care more about American film history than Americans. I don't like everything Van Sant has done but I do consider myself a fan of his work so I'm looking forward to watching this film.

For those not wanting to import, Plexifilm (co-founded by Sean Anderson of Criterion) are set to release this here No date yet.

It's been several years that Plexifilm announced this, but it's never materialized.

Looks like it's a case of them selling something they don't own then. I guess they don't have the money to buy the rights or whatever the reason they should remove that page.

I'll be avoiding anything the do as I don't like mis-advertising.
