Vincent Cassel/Monica Bellucci Satan (AKA Sheitan) DVD
 

Tartan are releasing this on UK DVD in March. As with their US DVD it has DTS and handily they've changed the title so we don't have to ask for Sheitan which sounds like the British swear word 'shiting' (not same as 'shitting').

Monica Bellucci is NOT in this film, in case anyone wants to know.

Yeah, she's seen briefly on a television set (some vampire porn or something) that someone is watching in the movie. I believe this is the short that is included on the UK DVD.

On this topic, can anyone suggest the best version of this DVD out there? The US Tartan release has PAL to NTSC ghosting issues. Is there a DVD out there that contains the shorts made by Cassel and the filmmakers shown in the featurette on the US DVD?

Yes, I have. While she may be in the background on the TV, that hardly qualifies this as a film starring Monica Bellucci.

I didn't see the movie, but now that I am aware of a Bellucci cameo, I am curious to see it. So yes, she is in the movie. And Resevoir never said about either of the actors starring in this flick.

That's like saying that Fargo stars William H Macy and Bruce Campbell

monica bellucci is in this film for no longer than 15-20 seconds on a tv set on some "nosferatu" type thing on TV. that is nothing. Now Cassel was great. I have the 2 disc tin. the two shorts are dissapointing. one being a the complete 30 seconds of this vampire type flick that is playing. the movie wasn't that great but cassel was very good in it.

it's the same for re-watching Coppola's Dracula. I rented it again years later after findout out Belluci was in it...

Whoa...that seems to be everything ported from the French double-disc release, and it would be cheaper. Packaging doesn't seem as nice, though.
