El Topo and The Holy Mountain on HD DVD?!?

According to "wikipedia" El Topo and Holy Mountain are being prepared for release on HD DVD. Anyone have info on this, or what company is doing it?

abcko is going to release the films on dvd, no news yet on hd and blu ray but its better for them to release these films on dvd first...these films might even become criterion titles, its rumored to be an april release.........................this is already confirmed

I feel like a broken record on this, but the segments of both films features in the docu film 'Midnight Movies' looked spectacular in HiDef.

If these movies were only released on HD-DVD, then I would have to buy an HD-DVD player.

If they are released on HD-DVD I would buy a player instantly.
