Are R2 dvd's ever of a different thickness or something? I ask because I recently picked up the new Doctor Who series and so far the first 2 discs get sort of sucked up into my Philips DVD player. These are the only discs I have ever had this problem with and it happens every time I put them in. Has anyone else ever experienced this with specific dvds?

Have you tried them on your PC? What exactly is the error from the player?
