why? if youre in america, most of the best editions of argento films are the old AB ones - this UK set is a simple collection of previous editions, and the UK ones are famed for not being too hot...

Actually, the real question is why you haven't already got a region-free player long before now -- just on general principle.

Considering Suspiria, Opera, and The Card Player all have great R1 releases, what's the point?

And if Tenebrae is the same 16x9 print used with the previous Anchor Bay UK disc, then it's not even worth it (as the R1 letterbox transfer is supposedly better).

regarding suspira, aren't there supposingly missing sound effects and some stuff mistimed in the region 1 version?
